Meet the Team of Tru Cut Tree Experts
Drew Wall
Owner/Operator
He started Tru Cut in 2014 after working in the tree industry for over 5 years. Drew is an exceptional tree climber and equipment operator; he specializes in operating their 30-ton Crane. He has mastered climbing and rigging trees with and without the use of aerial lifts. Drew holds quality and safety to the highest standard on every job. He treats each homeowner’s yard like he would his own. His high standard of quality is what sets Tru Cut apart from other local companies. Drew is very familiar with Senoia and surrounding areas since he was raised in Peachtree City. He lives on a small farm in Senoia along with his wife Melissa, two dogs, and two horses.
Daryl Matthews
Owner/Operator
Daryl brought over 10 years of experience in business ownership when he joined the Tru Cut team. Drew and Daryl used to work together before Tru Cut and have built a friendship over the last 15 years. Daryl is an expert equipment operator having owned a landscape installation company in the past. Daryl stays on the ground either operating our turf-friendly Bobcat or directing the crew in the safest, most efficient manner. Daryl is well-versed in identifying problem trees and how tree work can benefit your landscape overall. He was raised right around the corner in Brooks but now lives with his wife and two daughters on their farm in Zebulon, GA.
Melissa Wall
Business Administrator (Wife to owner, Drew)
Melissa will be the voice you hear when calling Tru Cut to schedule an estimate. Customer service is her top priority and she is exceptionally prompt when answering the office phone or responding to emails. Melissa is meticulously organized and takes pride in advancing the company’s technology to make the owners’ lives easier. After working in the medical field for over 12 years she decided to change careers and work with her husband at Tru Cut. She recently obtained a degree in accounting to better her financial and administrative abilities for the company. When she isn’t running the office out of her home, she works with her horses and enjoys carpentry projects in her free time. Melissa and Drew were married in 2018 and have been together since high school.
